The current EHRN strategy concludes in December 2014, so we’ve spent the last three months reviewing that strategy and preparing a new one. Earlier this fall, a consultancy called The Focus Group examined the successes, challenges, and lessons learned from the current strategic plan to define the way forward for EHRN Strategy 2015 – 2019.

On November 10 – 11, 2014, a national consultative meeting called “Improving Access to Services for HIV Prevention, Treatment, Care and Support of People who Inject Drugs” was held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. The meeting was organized by UNAIDS with the participation of the Eurasian Harm Reduction Network (EHRN).

East Europe and Central Asia Union of PLWH (ECUO) and Eurasian Harm Reduction Network (EHRN) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in the development of a Concept Note to be submitted to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (the Global Fund).

On 29-30 October, 2014, EHRN participated in UNDP regional Conclusive Regional Dialogue on HIV, Rights and Universal Access in Eastern Europe: Successes, Lessons Learned, Next Steps supported by the European Commission, that was held in Tbilisi, Georgia.
